Got antique treasures? ‘American Pickers’ returning to Alabama soon

The time to find out if you’re hoarder of worthless junk or a savvy antique collector is near. Popular “History Channel” show “American Pickers” returns to Alabama in February.

During its 24 seasons, the show has followed “pickers” Mike Wolfe, Robbie Wolfe (Mike’s younger brother), “Jersey Jon” Szalay and shop manager Danielle Colby as the searched the country’s dusty crevices looking for forgotten valuable antiques.

Along the way they mix it up with colorful characters and learn the stories behind objects that offer a different glimpse into American history.

The show first visited Alabama for a 2010 episode. In that ep, Mike Wolfe and company came across items including a 1969 Kawaski motorcycle and gigantic Piggly Wiggly mascot head. In a 2011 episode they participated in a “Possum Trot” countryfied auction in Seale, Alabama.

During a pair of 2014 Alabama eps, the turned up a plantation home relic and a Lambretta scooter. “American Pickers” also visited the state for episodes in 2019 and two in ‘22, including an ep they found a rare Shelby Mustang car in an Alabama barn.

According to a press release, for the show’s upcoming visit to the state:
